What is the curling palace!? How are you a member? What does the caption of this picture say!? There are so many questions!

This article was from the opening of the North Bay Granite Club in 1950. They call it a curling palace because, compared to the old North Bay Curling Club (for which you posted a 1922-23 membership card in the archives section of the site) it WAS a palace!

I'm not actually a member of the Granite yet, but as soon as I write the cheque, I will be!

The caption says 'Here's an interior view of the ice surface of the new home of North Bay curlers, the Cranite Club on Trout Lake Road. First oddicial bonspeil of the season will be the annual ACT Charity Bonspiel opening Tesday morning at 9 o'clock with a large number of rinks competing. The Granite Club features six sheets of ice and is a distinct credit to the men and women who worked hard to have it created.'

Any more questions, sir?
