Leave the party planning to us! DiscoveryNorthBayMuseum offers birthday parties programmed for children from 4 to 12 years old. The staff will lead crafts and activities in a theme of your child's choice and take the group on a tour of our galleries. Parties run year round, book your child's birthday party before time runs out. Reservations must be made a minimum of two weeks in advance.
Party Themes:
Teddy Bear Picnic Children are invited to bring their favourite stuffed friend for games and high tea at the Museum!
Child's Play Children will explore good old fashioned games and activities of early settlers such as hopscotch, three legged races and more. We will bring out some old fashioned toys to play with, no batteries required!
Pirates Paradise Shiver me timbers! Party-goers will walk the plank and find the buried treasure at the fun filled birthday party. The children will use a map and explore the Museum to see if they can find the Museum treasure. Remember, "X" marks the spot!
Trains, Planes and Automobiles All aboard! Come to the train station to learn about the early days of travel. Children will engage in activities that are both fun and informative. All activities and crafts follow our transportation theme.
Lords and Ladies Medieval Party Heraldry in an Hour! Your birthday boy/girl will become the party Prince or Princess. Party-goers will attend a special knighting ceremony. Activities include making princess tiara's, crowns, a coat of arms or even a drinking goblet!
Witches and Wizards Take out those wands! Young witches and wizards will learn how to create their own secret potion and lean all about sorcery and magic!

Booking:
Parties are available for up to 12 youth and 4 adults.
Cost is $125.00; additional participants, $15 extra.
Parties must be booked a minimum of two weeks in advance and require a $50 deposit.
