Once again, North Bay’s haunted history will come alive, as tour-goers experience some of North Bay’s shady, or just plain scary past.

“Last year’s Haunted Tours were a great success for the museum, and we are excited to announce our expanded second season,” said @discoverynorthbay Director Jennifer Buell.

This year’s Haunted Walks will begin on July 3rd, 2009, with the inaugural walk taking place at 8:00 pm.

Those brave enough to join the tour will explore North Bay’s historic downtown, sharing spine-tingling stories of lost love and untimely death, and will see some of North Bay’s creepiest locations behind-the-scenes.  

Tours will begin at @Discovery North Bay, in the former CPR Station at 100 Ferguson.  Ghost-hunters will hear some of the Station’s creepiest stories before sharing a few of their own, and will then carry on for their lamp-lit tour of the downtown, including the historic Royal Theatre.

Tickets can be purchased for six dollars in advance or at the time of the tour.  Space is limited, and reservations are strongly recommended.  The tour is not recommended for those under twelve years of age.

July 3 - August 28: Tours Fridays at 8:00 pm and 8:15 pm, Saturdays at 8:00 pm
September 4th to Oct 9th: Tours Fridays at 7:30pm
October 16th to October 30th: Tours Fridays at 7:00pm
Special Tours - Hallowe'en Night
October 31st: Tours at 7pm and 8:30pm
