Why Become a Member?
As a private not-for-profit charitable organization, Discovery North Bay relies on the support of the community. In return we are also accountable to the community for the manner in which we seek to preserve our history, and present it to the community at large.
As a part of the community, your support is vital. Without it we will be unable to fulfill many of the functions we currently complete, or provide the services we do for both local residents and visitors from other locations.

Research Memberships
Private Researcher - $100.00
1 hour of consultative planning with a member of Discovery North Bay Museum’s staff to help us plan your research, and 1 hour of research by a member of the staff of Discovery North Bay Museum
Up to 10 Archive retrievals
100 black and white photocopies (8 ½ x 11)
1 CD with 20 digital images (which can include scanned documents or photographs)
Student Researcher - $30.00
Students can register as Student Researchers, which entitles them to the following for one calendar year:
hour of consultative services with a member of Discovery North Bay Museum’s staff, which can be divided into half-hour increments if necessary
Up to 5 Archive retrievals
1 CD with up to 45 digital images (which can include scanned documents or photographs)
