Grey Owl: An Environmental Legacy
From May 7 to July 27, 2013 visit the Discovery North Bay Museum to see our temporary exhibit 'Grey Owl: An Environmental Legacy'. The show tells the story of Grey Owl's environmental impact through paintings, sculpture, taxidermy, video installations, and photographs. The exhibit was
co-curated by Arlington Hoffman and Dermot Wilson, and includes art works by 12 local artists and their interpretation of Grey Owl's legacy.
The opening reception for the exhibit will be held on Friday, May 17th from 6:30pm to 9:30pm as part of the Downtown Gallery Hop. An artists talk will take place at 8:00pm on the same evening.
A film screening of a Grey Owl documentary will take place on Friday, June 13 at 6:30pm.
Guided tours of the exhibit are available by request. Please call 705-476-2323 for more information.

Northern Ontario Art Association: 56th Annual Exhibition
Visit the Discovery North Bay Museum from May 4th - May 31st to view some incredible art works by the Northern Ontario Art Association. This annual juried exhibit features a variety of pieces and themes from artists across Northern Ontario.
An opening reception for this exhibit will be held on Friday, May 17th, 2013 from 6:30pm - 9:30pm as part of the Downtown Gallery Hop.
